[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Plz no points for this,I will delete it in a day or two. Just wanted to let you know I have created a new theme - Zen Principles.
There are seven of them:

1. Fukinsei - Asymmetry;
2. Kanso - Simplicity;
3. Koko - Austerity;
4. Shizen - Naturalness;
5. Yugen - Subtle Profundity;
6. Datsuzoku - Freedom From Wordly Attachments;
7. Seijaku - Silence.

I think it would be interesting to see different ideas/point of views about these principles.
If you already have photos in your gallery that you think would suit the theme, feel free to add them.
I think that photos can have one or more of the principles in it? let me know what you think about it.

NB: Of course, they don't have to be abstracts!

Thanks for a very informative note. Always helps knowing them and following at least some of them in the true sense. Good idea for a theme. I have taken the liberty of adding a good number of pics...feel free to remove them if you think they dont belong here.

An interesting idea. I look forward to seeing the further development of this theme.
If I may say so, I think this photo would benefit from a focal point. Perhaps as an illustration of the First Principle?

Excellent idea,Marija! But not easy to determine what a zen image is! I will check your theme and see how people interpret that in photography! I guess it must be quite minimalistic!....Have a great day! Michel

Nice work and thanks for noticing the theme! Will this one fit into Zen principles? Well, according to the craftsman who placed these cheramical plates, it's waaay out of perfection! :))))

First let me point out your natural geometric eye. You also did a great job with the grey scale and white balance. Is this the new D70? ;o)

The theme ideas are great. Your popularity and your commitment on TL never cease to amaze me. I find that extremely attractive.

I posted one of mine in your Zen Theme. Let me know if you think it belongs or not. I think it would fall under simplicity.

It is a very interesting theme you started here, with these photo. Why should you delet it?
I suppose you are satsfied with the responding uploaded photos. Some are really great!
I'm not quite sure if some of my photos allready uploaded , would fit ....if you think they do, please join them to the theme.

Do NOT delete. By all means give it a pale grey frame but do NOT delete. A valuable addition to your varied collection.
