YES! This is just fabulous. I do like the framing and the softness of the background. The colours are magnificent too. There is something about the tree blossoms of spring that are so uplifting with the promise of the fruit to come!

Hi Marija, Very clear,sharp, well exposed and gentle ( Backlit? )shot. Background a little distracting in bottom right for me, but only just.
Spring is in the air here as well, been out playing with a new IR filter today trying to catch the new greens etc.

so after wonderful performance in hands challenge ur run continues.
yes its soft..but its nice also.
blurring is nicely done in post processing also.
but cant agree with white frame..its distracting bcoz in pic also white is dominating.cud have easily gone for black one.
wat u say?

Hi Maria,
Must be spring in the air, a lot of flower shots are passing by. Like this one. DOF and composition are great. I'd have put a thin black line around the photo and then added the white frame...but that's just me.

My, my, Marija, you must feel like living dangerously today! A big, white frame? Be prepared for your bludgeoning. You may be ridden out of town on a rail. ;)

I LOVE IT. Simple as that. The whites and soft pink tones are so reminiscent of Spring...so feminine. The white frame is perfect. (I may have liked a verrrry thin black line around the photo, but I know you had your reasons for doing otherwise. You don't do anything without careful consideration, I've learned. :)

Where's that email you've been promising me? I'm on the edge of my seat! :)

Hi Marija,

I like the soft effect which you gave it as it emphasizes the apple(?) blossom. Great POV,as the natural lighting gives the leaves a very fragile texture.

Fantastic Marija.Good softness and sharp subject.
Than the frame.. thats like wearing a perfume .. some like it .. some don't.
There is no guideline you have to follow your own feelings with frames. ( I know all about it.. often people dont like them..) To be loud and clear:
I like your frame very much ..its a good leading in to the core of the photo. Well done

Hello Maria,

This is a beautiful and delicate photograph. I found that if this is viewed a few feet away from the monitor it really comes into it own. Nice choice with the square crop and wide white frame, excellent composition, well presented.

The composition is good, the colors are a little flat and the background is not good at all. :( I understand that you tried to achieve softness and purity in this capture to give us your view of what the spring and these flowers mean to you but try to catch them in the shadow or perhaps during a different timeframe when the light is more complimentary.

Hi Marija,
I think you've got a point in your notes -i.e. to show these white flowers in their natural state, so soft, so tender. In my very limited flower shots, I always think it important to have a dark background to bring out the flower. Thanks for sharing.

I like this very much Marija. The soft colours against the white background works nicely, and the composition is really effective as the flower appears to leap from the page.
