P.S. Ive just noticed the displayed 'date taken' is wrong! I haven't set up the camera completely yet. Sorry!

Hi Marija,

Great shot!
Love the POV that shows us the size of this building. Warm colours and interesting lines!
Very well done!

Constantinos
ps. Hi to you too... :))

This is real sweet. Exposure looks very well managed and the compo and POV are great

Great shot Marija. Very good composition, colors, graphical effect..., but first of all I like, no, I love, this absolutely beautiful, very original, moody, super extra... FRAME!!!
Tomasz

Hi Maria,
Curious, does the black frame come with the new Nikon?
On the photo: nice comp on this architecture.
Good luck with your new camera.
Regards,
OWO

I like this especially the way the windows reflect only the plain sky

Well Done
Gidoen

ps where did you get that frame I just have to have one...lol

I got so excited with this one that when I had written 10'000 words on the subject, I forgot which button to press and lost it all. So, I'll start again ...
My compliments to all concerned with this edifice and that includes you for finding it and presenting it to us. A beautiful combination of colours, styles, angles and other fine things. Was it a grey day with flat light? Good, as the no-reflection effect suits this very well.
What's everyone talking about? Frame? What frame? There's a frame? Well, it's so subtle and enhancing that I didn't even notice it. You must do this much more often but fatter next time ;)

hahahahaa, framed?

Good luck in your new Nikon Life!!!

;-))

Hi Marija, yes, apart from that fat black frame, it is a great shot.. love the symmetry and repeating patterns, clear and detailed..
well done

Alaettin

Wohhoou, Marija witha new toy!! So your new Nikon did the black frame??? :)))
Anyways, I like the "cleared-out" composition! Well, if I can make good skate action photos than you're a master of architectural shots!! :)
cheers

Great shot Marija.I like it especially the way windows reflect only the plain sky. Congratulations on your new camera Nikon D50. I love NIKON.

I laughed about your note; i also bought a Nikon yesterday and the date-feature was also the last I did.
I like your angle here; everything is tilt as if 2 pictures are melted together. Love the compo.
Succes with your camera Marija; there is a lot to learn with all those buttons and menus.
Huub

Another one of your good architectural shot but I have to agree with you this frame is way too big for the picture as it squeezes the picture and overwhelms it. Actually, I am not even certain this picture needed a frame at all!!! Nice perspective on the building that seems to come at angle into the other one. Your sky seems a bit white but that it is not always easy to control. Well done!

Good luck with the camera...a new toy is always fun!

I like the frame.
Do I have to mention your sence of geometry or you already know that?.
Extreamaly nice mariage of old and new, your favortite and specialty.

Ben.

interesting shot marija!
the contrast of textures and colours here is just brilliant! Hope to be seeing more of you!

Hi Marija,
Lovely shot & great POV. I do like this kind of photography. Thanks a lot for sharing.
Cheers,
Mohammad

Nice shot Marija. I like the oblique, intersecting lines. Like you said, frame could be better but who cares. I'm with you...Nikon rocks!

Joe

At least you got the frame "over with" early. Now your debt is paid and you can use all the white frames that you want. ;)

And you got your camera!!! That's great! I can't wait to see what you can do with it...and yes, we'll give you a little time to get used to it. :)))

I might have titled this one "Collision!" A very interesting combination of architectural styles - I'm having trouble understanding how the two come together. Is it one building??? It almost looks like you did the work in PP, but I think you would have told us that.

Hugs,
Gayle :)

Congratulation with your new camera Marija :) I know it was a wish of you to got one and now the moment is there...I'll say lets rock with your Nikon...lol...there will more to come.

J ;)

Great architectural shot, Maria! I like the fact that no light is showing from inside the windows, making this even more graphical. Good composition, the zones well defined and well balanced. Only nit pick: might have removed the bottom of the window in the lower right corner. Very nit picky this morning... Great job! Take care!

the black frame looks fine Maria :)
is it a little thicker on the bottom?

i like the framing for this architecture photo
the angle is perfect to show the 2 buildings crossing into each other :)

I love this capture, you did it so good.

TFS

Marco
