...and who are you waiting for Marija... he he...tall dark handsome stranger??..maybe..
Wow this is a fantastic window, a real piece of art, alot of work has gone into making that window frame...a very eyecatching photo, and the red pillow just pulls your eye towards the frame.
Well taken.. I like it very much.
Kind Regards
Dawn.

Hi Marija,
And I was waiting for you as well. Being a new upload from you. I actually like the angle of this photo. It show us a little more of the worn wall around the old window. I love the details in the wall and especially the wood work of the window. Very nice saturated colors and I love the element of the bright red pillow.
TFS,
Niek
wow what a marvelous capture!!! great contrast between the red of the pillow and the old wall... and the title is WOW!;) you make me imagine a whole story!
for my windows theme, thanks:))

Because they're not that like old and grainy, but with the all beauty they have and in the sunlight looks wonderful in every details.

Hi Marija; I always take such pictures frontal, but here your angle is just perfect; brings more depth into the bad walls structure.
Great moody contrast; even without the pillow it would be a great shot.
Thanks
Huub

Hi Marija,
You have a great knack for finding these interesting detail shots.
What was the pillow doing there?
Someones special seat enticing you in?
Passion shared?
Your Nikon works well !!
best wishes
Hope you have a good weekend.
Best wishes

Beautiful shot Marija. Perfect colors and details...
I want Nikon D50!

A beautiful capture in difficult condition, Marija. I just love that red pillow which makes this picture more interesting than without as we can think of multiple stories - fairy tale of the princess stock in her tower waiting to be saved by the prince, an old lady passing the time looking at the world outside, etc...Great sharpnes, wonderful light, texture & colours. Excellent!

the crusty walls, the peeling varnish-paint on the wooden frame and the dreariness of the inside, make this a great capture of a decaying ruin!
-Bartek
Nice capture, Marija!
I like your POV with the window and the pillow out of centre.
Very well captured variety of textures.
Well done! Alla.

Great composition Marija, beautiful sharpness of details
Your title refers to the new camera, of course. :)
A strange setup, and very well-seen by you, Marija. How many had walked right by and never even noticed the contrasts, the colors, the interesting elements.
One thing about it - photography can really enhance our powers of observation, if we're open to the possibility...
It's great!

Hi Marija
Excellent presentation, love the way the window is off set to the left . We can also see the original good worksmanship on the window frame itself. Oh by the way, great title. Thank you

Hi Marija,
Sharp, rich and well-handled. TFS.

Very nostalgic image. The waiting is all in the window and the decrepit walls. It's the house that had been waiting ... the pillow is incidental. Can't find any fault with the angle. Well composed, fine muted colours. Excelent photograph.
Salil
Very romantic vision of a window that lived much. I see its detailed description like first line of a "roman policier". The red cushion would maintain its secrecy until the end! ;) I like much the texture of this frontage. A beautiful observation, Marija.Bravo! Annie

hello maria!
wonderful photo, very atmospheric.
great colors.
very sharp and clear.
pozdrav,zoran.
Hello Maria, a very nice picture, I like the colours and the textures of the wall contrasting with the red satin cushion. Reminds me of me last night, but I was not waiting for anyone, I was lying curled up with my head on a cushion with a fever, and my muscles aching, thinking why do I have to get a touch of flu now. It is the weekend! Cheers Gazza
Hi Marija, Nice photo with good composition and coloures. Ja bi dao ime " i vreme prolazi..."

Congratulation on the new camera Marija. I'm so happy for you. I know how bad you wanted it.
Were you waiting for me......or the Nikon. ;o)
You managed, once again, to find and outstanding location. The texture of the wall, the window frame, the touch of red is amazing.
Even if the angle could not be chosen, it is perfect the way it is.

Hi Marija,
As everything has been said about this great photo, I'd like to add that the tittle and the ruin building has a powerful meaning, and -for me- the sentence Sorry about the pathetic title it's not necessary.
José M.
this is wonderful Marija!!!
I love the way you look at things:-)
fav, of course!!

One of the problems with arriving here very late is that all that can be said has already been said. I surfed through the above comments and now I have to find something different to say to you ...
You have a talent. You have an eye. You can see the 'art' that surrounds you and you are so fortunate to be able to make a record of these moments and places. We are fortunate, that you present your view of the world around you to the world at large.
All this has nothing to do with a new camera, it has all to do with what you see and allow us to see in turn. The technical quality here is par excellence but the content is the all-important issue.
I like the content and the emotion it generates.

Marija, this is a beautiful and meaningful image... As Kit was saying, what's to say when all has been said? But I can't resist praising the old wall texture, the hidden story behind the red pillow and the opened window... Bravo,
bebe

She had spent so many hours in front of that window, she had decided to put a pillow to get more comfortable.
She was waiting for her lover for hours, days, months. This was the day he was coming back from the army.
This was the day he was going to see their baby for the first time. A beautiful baby girl... Oh no! She is crying.
Gotta go check her.
