[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Too hot outside to go out and take new photos, so here's one from the 'maybes'folder. Street shot from my town.

PP: cropping just a bit on the left as it was the end of the wall showing, conversion to BW and autoleveling.

I will post colour version as WS...I found the painted wll quite lovely (done by one of the local artists), but this time I found colours distracting.

I prefer this version than the colour version. And I think it's more you : )
I like the scene also... captured at the right time

Wow, great shot, the man almost melts right into the painting, nice work.

What a great shot it is like the painting has come alive.

Altho the colour version is nice I agree the B/W is much better. If this was in 'maybe' I can see your standards going higher... This is a superb candid, caught at the right time...

HI Marija,

Dramatic composition you've made. I like it that the original version. Well made!

Regards,
Jomari

halo marija!
odlican izbor za c/b fotku, ovako se uklapa u pozadinu, vise nego u boji.
super i pozdrav

Hi Marija,
Interesting artwork,
good framing, I love the B/W effect here,
Excellent work :)
Cheers TFS,
Vishal Sabharwal

a great comp, works very well in b&w, good choice, thanx, M, (*_*)

I just love this scene. Great composition and nice choice of black and white. The graffiti in the background ooozes suburban to me. I know you prefer the black and white version the best, but I couldn't help myself doing a workshop on your coloured version. Hope you don't mind. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

"Maybes" folder???
Great one Marija...
Tomasz

Very good observation, Marija! The real man and the painted characters are the perfect combination. Well done!

PS: Can I borrow some of your "maybes"?

I vote this version!
Well done.
Ciao
Gigi

Your 123rd photo well done, congratulations and cheers.

Jeffrey

PS. just a request Marija, can you please make the other version the man and the cart leave as black and white, thank you. Jeffrey

Good morning Marija,
Nice photo, well spotted. did you have to wait long for the man to arrive with his bin? Fits in perfectly. For what its worth i agree, black and white works best.
Best wishes
Rob :)

Hi Maria,
Nice scene, very well captured. It's remaining one I done in London few years ago.
Nice work.

very good decisive moment shot, Marija! what is funny here (I said funny??!!!) is that the cartoon world is more "alive" than the man who is carring the luggage, so bored... the cartoons have a life, more exciting than ours:)

very interesting one, congratulations:)

Super fotka. Odlicno je sto je crno bela.

Hi,
Wonderful tones. marvelous composition
Well Done,
Deniz.

Both is great Marija, color and B&W. It has soft colors in original and i think it gets stronger in B&W. But Diana's ws is so enjoyable too.
Very good capture, im surprised that you kept this one in maybies folder. Very well seen and taken.
Elif

Great idea Marija. I tend to prefer your colour version but that's just my personal taste. I learned some things from your use of blending modes. Nice work once again!

Joe

Hello marija, very well spotted and you did very well to post it. It's really great. I love graffiti and the man is a great bonus.

This b/w version is nice and also your colour one is very nice as well but enhanced by Diana. Now it stands out and make all the nice colours pop out.

First of all, this is a great work to begin with. Take care, Yan :)

Bok Marija,

surreal background and a story of a life in front. Great, full of details but jet well balanced.
Krasno kao i uvijek.

Definitely BW for me.
Dead center works well in an almost delinquent way. A little movement in the feet, your subject is the same scale of the people on the graffiti, creating a 3 dimensional / unexpected aspect to your work. I said it and I’ll said it again, Marija, you are a true artist, deep in your soul.

Cheers!

Well, I will have to concur with everyone, if this is what you have in your "maybes folder", I cannot image what you have in your to be published folder! I am like Pierre I will want to steal a few from you.

This is a very good and an excellent daily life scene. I just love the contrast of this working guy against the very urban design behind him. You definitively have a good eye to capture such intersting scene. Excellent!

P.S. I also prefer the B&W version and Diana's version was fun too....

Hi Marija,
This is superb. You have great photos in your maybe folder.. The B&W version is a lot better with more impact, I agree with you about the distraction of the colours. Very well done.

stay well,

Hi Marija,

A great daily life composition!! The B&W enhances the shapes/designs on the wall. The man seems like being part of the wall graffiti... :))
Very well seen and composed!

Constantinos

Maria, You are perfect photographer. One of those scenes that I have been saw milion times, But never I found it so great as you captured it!

Selecting black and white show how talented you are! Also place of the man in frame is perfect as well. it may be a bit more space in the button of the shot help to improve POV, But yet it is perfect in my eyes.
You are a fovorite of mine!

Well seen Marija! An wise choice using b/w for this - it really sets the mood! Thanks for sharing and have a nice summer! :o)

Hello Marija :)))
First when I saw the thumbnail I thought that guy is part of the artwork :) hehe
Yeah, the overall feel is much different in B/W though I still like the colour one! :)
Well done, Marija :-)

Excellent eye for proportions. Interesting contrast between the guy (a living person) and the people on the grafitti.

What a fantastic capture Marija,
All three are wonderful. Both colour versions and this one. Which do I like best? I'm not sure, each one has something that really stands out for me. You have great vision to see this opportunity and compose the shot.
Thanks for posting, have a great week.

I don't know how I missed this one... I stared at it for a while. I then looked at the workshops submitted by you and cloverstar and have to admit that I liked hers and yours a lot. Both are unique, and very interesting urban art, eventhough I am not a fan of these wall paintings.
