Before you think I went totally crazy, let me explain why I am posting this one...there is absolutely no PP work except for cropping/resizing. I experimented with manual camera settings (you can see them in more pic info), and this is one of the results, taken on a terrace of a restaurant.
It is unusual, I know, but I would really like to hear about your thoughts/feelings about it, and maybe title suggestion?
Anyhow, have a great day everyone.

:) I am glad you discover the manual settings:) yes, it's overexposed and maybe too centred (I am sincere, hope you will not be upset on me hehehe) I like the detils on the tree and the compo is quite interesting... a title: the missing tree (because the man is between the line of the trees)

the more I look, the more I like:)

hug,
anca

Looks like a piece of heaven to me:)
And this waiter would stand for an angel:)
My only suggestion ... to make that gentleman behind the tree (and may be the last tiny little bush in the low right corner) disappear;)
Great work!
Very unusual:)
have a nice day thank you for posting this, Karina:)

I LOVE the white background. It looks fabulous! Well done Marija.

i can't work other then on my manual settings now, Marija:))

this photo puzzles me..I like it a lot, but it has something strange...well, I guess it has that experiment feeling, you know what I mean, good but not universal:)))

very good experiment, Marija!
love over-expo!
Vik

i like how everything seems to look "plastic" as a result of the overexposure in the background maria :)
this reminds me of those miniature models of building :P
i think the result is quite cool here

Simple and VERY nice! Fantastic POV. Compliment Marija of Sebia - Montenegro with no Montenegro any more ..

John

Hello Marija, I think it's very nice and original.
No pp work? you did very well with the completely white bg. And just the trees and the man in colour.

And your upward pov is very well thought of. It makes a modern image.

My only suggestion would be to clone out the thing in the bottom of the big tree and the little spot on the left of the image.

The rest is perfect!

Great work Marija.

Take care, Yan :)

Fernando

Izgleda super. Drvo je ispalo fantasticno. Uspeo ekspriment.
Pozdrav

Sorry but i find it fantasstic from bigining till the end...it is so unusual! i like the really centered main tree and the waiter looks like taking the place of the tree nr 3 ! what with " End of the tree-dinner-service " an unusual titlt for a unusual shot :)

Great shot,Marija! I am afraid that "yes" you went totally crazy and I like it that way! Very funny (or funky) image, well composed and attractive! Thanks for sharing! Michel

Great shot! I like how the man looks like he's one of the trees almost, all he needs is a green hat haha. Gives a great sense of scale too, goood job!

Very nice photo Marija the soft colours and the strange POV makes this one a pleasure to watch.

J.

Hi Marija, the exposure is good, so much detail held in the tree and a white sky. I have to say the rest does little for me. Sorry.
Hope you dont mind.
best wishes
Rob :)

It look a little overexposed but that makes the surreal look stronger. The tree on front is highly impressive with its dimensions. I like this strange and attractive composition. Maybe you can clone out the man's head behind the tree.
Original shot Marija, congrats!
And the title?.. Serving to a big tree :))))
Elif

da, stvarno je neobicno, ali bas zato daje posebnu draz.
marija, svaka ti cast.
odlicna fotka.
pozdrav!

This is absolutely well done Marija! Lovely composition! I never knew the result in Hi-Key manage so well! even the background detail burn out. Is't a shinny blue sky or misty gray sky? I love the simplicity!

cool image!
original POV. i actually like that big difference between the first tree and other trees and waiter.
love the white background. there's really something catchy in this shot. probably the white space around and just a few shades of greens and sand tones.
title... oh, boy.. .can't think of any. except probably for "how can i serve you up there in the tree?" LOL

laine

I don't know how you get it but the result is really great ... i love it !
I think that you can crop it in different ways to get many excellent photos.
First one must be only the big tree ... second one with the smaller one near the big one ... and so on ...

stay well
v
ps.litlle bit crop on the bottom (at least to get off that small thing from the left of the tree)
pps.I'll come back with the points

Hi Marija,

When I first saw it I thought you had worked a lot on PS... :)
After reading your notes I thought that this is a very creative composition, unusual but very creative... :)) I like the white background/sky(?). It enhances the details of the main subject(s) of your composition.
Very well done!

Constantinos

I always like something that is different and unique. This is exactly that. With the cloudless and colourless sky, it gives the scene so much impact. Like in a high key style. Just love it.
Title suggestion: At Your Service Sir!
My only suggestion, and this is a personal one, is to clone out the man's head by the tree trunk, and the small dark spot on the bottom left. I'm so picky, I know :) I can't help it.

This one stands out for being unique. Your experiment just brought out the creativity in you. Fantastic POV. Well thought of and captured.

This is absolutely amazing, Marija, and very created. There is a very surreal mood to this picture with the waiter which looks like he is popping out of the bottom frame. The over-exposed sky is just perfect in this case. I have to agree with Diana that to make it perfect I would have cloned out the white-haired man, and the tiny bit of trees coming out of the frame on the right. It would have then become even more minimalist: two trees and a waiter. Well done!

Sorry, got here too late and my bag is empty!

This alone shows the great artist in you. No boundary, no restriction just a free spirit. It strikes me how much you are artistically gifted. I wonder if your artistic sense goes in conflict with your profession or doesn’t it serve it?

no pp work???? What the....?! You are a genius. Glad you got that new camera too. This is great! If you ever decide to do PP work on it, I would only remove the tiny spot on the bottom and the old man's head behind the tree. everything else is perfect. JP

Strange image. There's not post-processing? Incredible. White background is natural? You could title Heaven's Waiter.

Enric.

Hi Marija,

Visual, big beautiful theme

I like the result Marija. White background with only a few less coloured "items" in front. I like it.

Marija good morning
Siple and yet attractive in its minimalism. Very good perspective created by the trees and the presence of the person makes it even more attractive to the eye
