This is not a "pleasant" photo to look at, Bratislav. It might be considered "plain", but at the same time, it "confronts" us with the less poetic (some might say the "vulgar") aspects of... life. In other words: this is not the classic TL-pet-shot, but it is one way to represent an aspect of daily life... like you can see it in the streets (and whether you like it or not).
Not beautiful, but confronting. But there is nothing cruel in it, even nothing obscene, because animals do not know what "obscenity" is. We, however, may see obscenity in it, because we are humans and have the capacity to refer to (cultural, moral, social) values.
But the fact of being "confronting" should'nt be a reason to ban a photo...
Perhaps composition could be better (but you don't choose these circumstances). A grainy B&W would be better for this kind of "street photography" in my opinion. And this photo does not need a frame. Oh yes, if there is something "obscene" in this photo, it certainly is the "pseudo romantic" frame! ;o).
Just my personal opinion, of course. Feel free to (dis)agree ;o).
TFS and..., what should I say... Make love, no war? ;o)

bratislav this is not really TL material, this is a poor subject for this site, it's not level, it's not even sharp so why you have posted it here is beyond me.
You catagorise it as Daily life... yes it is, Humorous... I see nothing funny here, Nature... yes it is, Decisive Moment... I can't see what decisive about it, Pets... yes it is, Action... where is the action here?, Portrait... it is a poor one.

This image doesn't offend any beliefs.. in my opinion.
You have the rights to look at subjects, and to present them within a pleasable frame. I agree with your concepts, written to some comments here. The surroundings are to be seen, and to decide whether to show it to kids or not is another discussion. There are so many sites in internet and published magazines that are open to the world, and kids watch them too, in secret ...isn't it? So, I don't think that this image may harm them badly. It's the vision, of how and why , this was presented. Maybe, this can be seen in the context of something bad, or in a different view, of telling a story of the street life of animals. The title 'Love is Pain' has the screams of human race and is a perfect quote. Everything is painfull, smiles, secrets, words, love, sex, lust, cries, ... and what all ....
To shout at a concept has to be thought of...
Your thoughts of giving this scene a dramatic presentation is accepted. I think, why not, there be a fruitfull discussion, rather than just saying harsh, and to ban an image ?
Is that the right?
Regarding the picture, it's a reflex one, a sudden capture..as I think about this. So , it's natural, to get the b/g avoided, or if it's done purpose, it's welcome too. Important is , what the subject is, How it's shot, and Why it's shot..
Here, I see a pain, and that has a different vision too..
Maybe many disagree here, but i smile at you, dear friend.

i dont see aything wrong with this picture. what is so disgusting? we have different points of view. there is nothing vulgar here. banning of this picture? i don't think so. why they don't ban those photos of women where showing their naked butt? some people are just being hipocrite.

Not unless you think its porn, and if its your idea of porn, you must be one sick puppy ( pun intended).
2 dogs in a post coital embrace, cant see whats wrong with that.
Photographically it leaves a lot to be desired, just has the impression of being a snap, with little thought going into the composition, or narrative.
I have shot like this, which I might dig out and upload.

Dragi prijatelju,

svratio sam na minut, a ostao ceo sat iako imam uzasno mnogo obaveza. Iskren da budem, bas su me iznervirali veliki moralisti i junacine preko tastature i bas bih voleo da sa nekim od njih, posebno da ovim coveculjkom koji je prvi postovao popricam koju.

Svaka cast na hrabrsoti prvo. I od mene imas apsolutnu podrsku!
