[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I made this photo about two weeks ago when I suddenly went with my wife to this nice, calm place - cemetery, where hundreds of soldiers that were fighting Germans for the liberation of Belgrade were burried in 1944. I was plesantly surprised that the cemetery is still in good condition. It was really beautiful expirience.

Cemetery "Oslobodiocima Beograda 1944" is dedicated to 2.944 soldiers of Yugoslav and 961 soldiers of Red army who have fallen for the liberation of Belgrade in 1944.

It is placed on Mije Kovacevica street across the New cemetery.

With its beauty and artistic value "shine" this beautifuly made sculpture of one of the fallen fighter, work of the sculptor Antun Augustincic.
