Books have been written about what is a photo Marija - and no conclusion. When I look at your image I see a nice design, forms and shapes along with nice colours and texture. I like it because it is creative and well done. That is a photo is all about.

Just wonderful!!!!!! colours, comp. shapes, tones, textures.... everything is harmoninc and in perfect balance. Great experiment Marija. It's creative, well executed and very well presented. I LOVE the hige frame. It's gorgeous!!!! And it does look like a foto!!!!!

This is an excellent experiment, Marija, and you have created a piece of art with this photo. This is so design that it could be a poster or a page in a high-end catalogue. The shape are very sensual and the colours so rich & beautiful - this yellow & red are just to die for. I also like how you have framed it...it is ready to hang on the wall. Excellent and bring us more of these experiments!

A very nice experiment, Marija! Quite clever: two layers of the same object, but with different forms. Now, to tell you how much I like the shot: it works fine with the large frame, but it doesnt need it at all. A great picture!

Very artistic! To my mind, the keys to success here were the harmonious warm colours and the focus which is on the shadow and the wall texture. This way the lines and the textures start work on themselves, creating this beautiful masterpiece. Superb!

Hello Marija, what an artist you are! The way that you cropped your photo to capture only the womanly curves and it's shadow.

Must be your own curves represented here. Very subjective in a way :)

Maria, how did I miss this beauty? It is a classic study in form and colour. The contrast of the almost monochromatic image is just perfect; like a surealistic painting. The real beauty lies in its simplicity. It is now one of my favourites. Bravo!

It looks like a picture of Rothko with vertical curbs instead of horizontal lines. The colours are very warm and inviting too !

Hi! Marija,
I find your note just as intriguing as this image, when you question whether it looks like a photo or not. I try to always declare my posts as images. I do not try to make them look like photographs. For I do not know what a photograph looks like.
My images are painted with light, and my camera is the ever changing paint pot. My canvas is woven with pixels and my images become visible when you excite them with light.
This beautiful image is the essence of painted light and benefits from the colour of that light. The shadow tells us of it's shape and proximity to the surface. The bond between it and it's maker is light. That same light is a common thread to all images whether paintings,drawings or photographs.

This post is pure art form in a perfect mount.
