[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
When I was visiting Slovakia with my dear friends from Czech we whent to stay at a family which are good friends of them. We spend a couple of days at their house and enjoyed the very warm and sweet hospitality that they offered.
Life in this place is different from what I know as a city inhabitor from Holland. When we walked through the forrest looking for mushrooms we walked into the people we where staying at, where they where cutting trees from the woods to supply the wood to burn in the strong cold winter.
The horse was working as hard as the men over there and I captured it in the its break.

Made a couple of addjustments, added a filter, played with the contrast and gave a spot of light.

Hope you like it.. for me this brings back good memories of the country life, the good friends.. and the smell of burned wood.

Hi dear Tjeerd,

I love this one. It's quite great and magical. Its look like an illustration from a fairytale book (without that thing on the horse's neck). The light is very enchanteé.
