This is another contribution to the theme on mobile telephoning. The funny thing was that I was actually taking a photo of the waitress serving two tourists and this busy person stepped into the picture the moment I pressed the shutter. So goes it when one is very busy being busy - you end up on TL.

I suppose it could also have been a contribution to Figures in Urban Landscapes, but I didn't want to add grain to this one, so here it is after only rudimentary cropping and enhancing before resizing.

How very typical of today's life style! - at least some of the subjects seem to be relaxing. Nice piece of candid photography Per.

hello Per
que ferait les gens sans ce bigophone sans fil?
ton image est belle, bien cadree et ce t'shirt rouge " just play"
beau contraste, deux avec lunettes dans les cheveux et me semble t-il une seule personne qui travaille, le t'shirt rouge.

Beau travail

Hello Per !
Another one with a mobile phone, an image of today !!!
I like the fact the girl is wearing a tee-shirt with the mention "Just Play" ...
Nice daily life shot !

Nice capture Per. I agree that the waitress would make a better shot, go figure, these people are oblivious to their surroundings! B

A lucky accident Per, but a potent shot, depicting what now appears to be the norm, the mobile strapped to the ear :-(

Peter

Hi Per,
Like the story. Also the text in the centre "justplay" is also good to the theme, to show that business has its own dramaturgy: so instead of 5 steps to look like a busy person, now here is the sudden step to become awared busy on the www :)
I like the compo as it finally came out, the echo of the grey suited people (= grey busyness :)
Overall good contribution to both themes, TFS!
Marcie

Great shot for you theme. Every since you opened it I have noticed everyone I see has a phone glued to their ear as tho it is a source of life giving strength...what did we do before we had all these modern technologies? I lided growing up and sitting on the porch watching the fireflys and the sun go down. Seems to me all it has done is bring more stress into our lives....well, how did I get started on that?
Great "accidental" shot for your theme....

I will get one ready to add as soon as I can get off this phone..........:O)

Another great shot for your phone theme. This time I think the pretty waitress steals some of the attention. The details of the creases and shadows in the man's suit are good. I must get out of the house more and look for some cell phone shots for your theme. I finally added one for your Figures in an Urban Landscape today, but sorry no grain.

It's been a while!

I like the way you come up with new themes every time, keep it up!
