I like the idea, but honestly I dont like how you performed it. The PP part is too shiny respect to the rest.

touch bekommen.
klasse gemacht & viele grüße, thorsten.

Hello Sarah,
Very artistic and surrealistic theme full of fantasy. Looks like a scene viewed from underwater. Great job. TFS Thomas

Hi Sarah, indeed the water looks fascinating with the black and white picture. However, I would like to suggest that you addon a frame around it as it could be nicer..TFS.

This is realy a fantastic shot! I like this effect on the image!

Sarah,
I have the feeling that we both belong to a Group of photographers that not try to make a copy of the real world around us. For me that is impossible. We live in a 3 dimensional world and have all our sense organs connected to that. If we take a photo we have realize we lose that emotional contact and transform it to something complete different in a 2 dimensional world in a different color spectrum as well. We can go one step further and remove the colors. All is accepted by most photographers. But if you go one step further like we do. Deform ore add things, make double prints, you name it. Then most of the photographers put there finger up and say “I don’t like it because” of “leave it as it is” No No No!!! A photo is a totally new thing not a copy of whatever. We have to think and compose in the 2 dimensional world.
Making new things photography is “paint with light” we must creative with this. And make new even not existing things. There are moments in life that we see things deformed physical or mental, or by objects. Your photo is a good example of water that possible can deform and make it special.

Very interesting and surreal image, Sarah. I really like the treatment here, especially since it was done only selectively. As one looks outward from the center, things begin to appear as they normally would, almost as if there's some sort of black hole in the center affecting gravity and disrupting everything around it.

Good choice to render it in black & white as well.

Bravo!

An artist has a mind which concieves unlimited ideas. And I liked this beautiful representation of a brilliant idea.

Thanks for sharing Sarah.

Hi Sarah,
This is what I mean you have the guts to transform a beautiful scene into an almost “Dali-surrealistic” picture. Very impressive the choice for BW makes it even more surrealistic. Well done and TFS!
