Hi Jeri
Fantastic concept and composition with a great, original, and appropriate treatment of colour, light and contrast. Excelent artwork and a great mood.

Hello Jeri,

Very wonderful photos.

dear Jeri,
in Japanese traditional art, the use of space was always significant,
because, the space is not empty but full of imaginations of possibility.
in this your picture, fore vacant big gray space and distant colored "EXIT" make interesting contrast in this floor space.
but the viewer looks at "what" in this space?
and the intent you look at there is "what"?
of course, free to imagine those,
but in my feeling, the objective space means the inner space, of course.
and we scarcely know the presence of that space in daily life.
then the space of mind is "what"?
we really lost "what"?
the key is perhaps this arrow, we could not bear the space,
and inevitably want to go out from "EXIT".
quite like we always think every question or problem may have each correct answer.
in modern art, the space looks regaining its significance,
I especially think so in abstract art and surrealism,
(of course, these two are now "classic" in modern)
then we can imagine joyful future or anxious foresight in it...
but we scarcely know the space itself is beautiful.
yes the space itself is an excellent function of our spirit.
graceful space, my feeling when I watch this image,
thank you. Akihisa
Hi Jeri - I like the idea of the picture and your POV, but I sure would have cropped away enough of the bottem to leave 2/3 floor and 1/3 wall with exit door. I know that the picture then becomes more square and you don't like that, well then make the bottem part of frame wider, that will work ^-^.

Jeri,
Lovely album so far! Lots of critiquing opportunities.

What an image! Huge empty space - with an arrow to guide one's eye to a scene open to much personal interpretation.
LOVE IT!

...or entrance?
I like the low pov here, Jeri, with excellent leading the eye towards the top third, and well-thought pp work of desaturating the image, leaving color to one key element.
Clever job! ;)

Ciao Jeri,
the idea to frame this big part of white floor and the low POV are really successful and direct the look straight to this way of escape. The arrow is highly important in this excellent suburban shot. Great scene of chatting included. Great work!
Have a nice weekend

Hello Jeri,
very artistic composition,
nice idea and a different one,
Regards caesar
you have a small, but nice collection! this photo I would crop from below to a square size to get a better balance in the composition. But it's great anyway
