[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Place
Vogel is a ski resort in the Julian alps. In summer it is a wonderful place for hiking. Taking the cable car from the shores of lake Bohinj in a matter of minutes you are elevated to the wonderful world of alpine meadows.
Technique
I used the panorama function that comes with the Olympus camera when you use a genuine memory card. This has put the 16M card that came with the camera to good use (as otherwise it is rather small). I did not use a tripod. Lately I make panoramas somewhat differently.
Repost
As the original black frame was almost unanimously disliked, I used a B&W distorted version of the panorama as background. Also as I understood some TL friends were not aware of how to get to the large version, I added a red button to help in these situations.

This is somewhere I have visited for a hiking holiday so this is lovely to see. Nice panorama with a great composition

Hi Tibi, wow, what a shot now! LOVE the button, tell me in the comments what you did to do that, if you would, please! The shot for these mountains is dynamic, great pov and dof. I had a family that I worked for go to a place like this and they had some nice pictures. Good to see it in all the 4 seasons if you get the chance.
