Dobro jutro Jeri,

najprej...vse najlepše želje ob Novem letu. Naj se ti uresniči vsaj 80% vseh želja. Ne bom rekla naj se ti uresničijo vse, ker potem ne bi imela več kaj sanjati. Sanjati pa moramo vedno. :)

Odlična panorama. Mala cerkvica, gore z belimi kapami v ozadju in neskončno nebo. Super. Odlična izbira B/W, ker ustvari tako 'moody' vzdušje.

Elegant, serene, subtle.
The comment made by Anna is so pertinent.
I like the gray tone, the "dot" of natural and man-made white that when place so low in the image, give that vague gray so much balance.

dear Jeri,

this image is like my far distant memory in the deep bottom of my mind, and it is not old but fresh.
upper large space is mild gradation of mono tone gray, and this gray is not monotonous, but calm and rich feeling of imaginative blue.
and bottom mountains and church with white are strangely clear, like not actual view, but illusionary scene.
then black hill and wood on the left base corner.

generally people think the heaven is above the sky, and the hell is under the ground,
but I don't think so. the ground is basement land of our spirits, and the sky is limitless vacant space where we can imagine everything in it.
our memories always quietly sink to this bottom through the settled space like this sky.
perhaps cleanliness of the air may mean the high degree of transparency of our spirits.

Very beautiful composition : the dark hill that highlight the church; its position that let us think that its goal is to give the opportunity to comtemplate the mountains; the very nice shades of gray. Very good work. Keep posting. ;-)

Great shot! I really like the composition, the white on the church and on the top of the mountains really pop. I would have prefered a smaller frame because the white large frame really take your eyes off this wonderful landscape.
