Taken at the Nasrid Palace in Alhambra.

Guys, I need some help with this photo.

The original looked mediocre, with the interior of the room looking very dark. No flash or tripod was allowed. I decided to lighten the shadows to expose the dark areas and then lowered the brightness and increased the contrast. However, while the interior of the room looks OK, my courtyard is a bit washed out. I tried to do some burning but I'm new to it and didn't get the desired effect of reducing the washout.

But, aside from this technical incompetence, I was quite happy with the resulting composition. Imagine if this were a hotel and you could stay in a suite looking like this. How much do you think it would cost?
