[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
En un momento representó el esplendor de una comarca de Granada. Las minas del marquesado, en Alquife, provincia de Granada.

Historia:

A finales del siglo XIX se realizaron las primeras concesiones mineras para una compañía inglesa, que posteriormente cedió una parte de ella a otra compañía francesa. La explotación se efectuaba por el sistema de galerías y precisaba de gran cantidad de mano de obra, que atrajo hacia Alquife una importante inmigración de gentes de los pueblos cercanos y hasta de la provincia de Almería. El complejo minero, que en su principio fue explotado por el sistema antedicho, tras la compra de las concesiones por la Compañía Andaluza de Minas, se decidió realizarlo a cielo abierto, con el abandono sucesivo del procedimiento inicial.

La imagen es una composicion de 4 tomas, posteriormente tratada mediante "reservas" en Photoshop CS2.

Excellent work, a bit surreal and dream-like, dark and spooky mood captured here, not sure why but it gives me 'post - atomic explosion' kind of feel, very interesting and subtle colours, perfect composition, great work, I love it!

Beautiful tone! I like the colors very much - you treatment to the shot depicted the beauty of surreal - just nice, without being too much. An interesting perspective, well captured, that I believe as an example of situation that breaks the rules of composition for a pleasant result.
