great effects achieved here, the look on the face of the subject is really intense and the post processing has really added to that. TFS

Portrait sombre mais avec une grande maîtrise de la lumière. Composition dramatique renforcée par la texture environnante. Très bon travail !

Great composition and graphical effect. Really gives the shot an atmosphere of damp and cold. Perhaps a few more Photographer's notes would be good too.

Eden,
The lack of notes really hurt this posting. You had the opportunity to explain how you did this but you chose not to. I do like the photo, reminds me of marks left during an ice skate, perhaps like someone peering up through the ice. I can't give full marks because the notes.

On Flickr, I'd rave about this....here....just seems like a good photo with a lack of effort.
Sorry,
Scott

Hey Eden!
Quite an intense image that in my mind at least, reminds me of Rasputin. It's the beard, the wild dark eyes and the hood.

Alas, the crop is wonderful and definetely helps in the general central focus of the shot, the post-processing here I think helps in at least my mind to remind me of Rasputin, as the scratchy oversaturation helps to give it a rather vintage look!

Good job Eden!
Cheers

Wow! That's evil. Great setup and pp on this, Eden. Good balance in the shot as well. Good thirds rule. I think the graininess is overdone, however. TFS
