| Inside the finest building in the Plaza de Vázquez Molina situated in the town of Ubeda in the province of Jean you can find this Renaissance church called El Salvador, built in the first half of the 16th century to the design of Diego de Siloé and Andrés de Vandelvira. Its rich sculptural decoration is flanked by two low round towers. The large semicircular Capilla Mayor with a high dome, of impressive size even from outside. This particular image has been taken from the indoor patio. |
