A doppelganger is a self-shadow that accompanies each of us. But this shadow can only be seen by us.
After I shot this church facade in Ubeda I thought of subjecting it to post-processing. I lowered the brightness level and increased the contrast. The result, I thought, would be how things would look like to our doppelganger, especially if we are highly prejudiced--we see things in black or white and our hopes for the world that we see is dimmer than how an optimist sees. |
