Ahh...such a rich sense of sunlight and color, with wonderful shadows and features to delight the eye! I like the fresh air feeling with the open door and how the light plays on all the surfaces. Superbly done!

Hi Carol,

I happen to love this shot! I like all of the beautiful shadows cast on the wooden floors. The detail of the window and balcony give me a suggestion that this was in Spain! I think this would be a great advertisement photo for the Inn.

Very warm mood.

Trés charmante... la lumière si bien captée nous donne une sensation maison tellement réelle...
Les zones d'ombre sont majestueuses et font un très bon pendant avec celles en plein soleil.

Hi Carol,
Excellent light management renders very soothing shadows oone the textured wooden floor as the sunbeams lay peacefully on the white bedspread. Lovely clear colors and excellent details to this very pleasant image.

Hello Carol,I read your notes and found it interesting that you looked out to the plazza to find a picture, when all the time, there was this beautiful study of light and shadow, in your room.
A wonderful composition.

Hi Carol; on a lazy Sunday morning, I thought I'd have a browse through your entire gallery. I think you first caught my attention with "Where Time Stops" and "pulling in the nets", but I was curious - what other treasures would lie within (that sounds very poetic:):). And there are a lot of treasures here, I see.
This one is great, and looks like something I would have noticed - I guess that's why it caught my attention. Love the warm rich tones of the floor and the wooden door, the shadows and the sun hitting the bed, and the little sneak peak of the scene outside your balcony .. and it's morning!! I love mornings.

Beautiful work Carol! it takes a trained eye to see things like this! Not afraid to get down and dirty, down where most humans won't get..on their knees! Love the crop! This is a killer shot...gotta be one of my favorites of yours of all time!
