[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi Everyone,
Coming on top of a low pass I spotted this small barn or shed ( do not know what's the purpose of it ) but it caught my eye with its kind of unusual blue roof and single black window , so pulled into the rest area where we parked our car to eat our lunch and enjoy the view of the valley below ! While my wife prepared the food at the picnic table hum , i made a few photos of the village wonderfully set among green fields in the valley and went for the object that kept drawing my attention , yes this small whitewashed building isolated ..in a field...well away from the rest of the village and apparently with no access road to it,
Iso 80 ,1/250 , f/5.6 ,upped highlight and contrast , a large frame and that is it .
Location is near Jaca in Alto Aragon ,Spain .

I love the distinct bands of color here, with the house so nicely placed and and the white just pops out, really nice work Carol!

Excellent seen and well captured! This isolated farm and lonely in the wide field is perfect captured. Fine light and colours. A great posting Carol.

I agree with Linda -- the house is very well placed here. I am drawn by the textures as much as the colours and the diagonals work very well

Very surprising capture in most unusual way to show the rough texture of soil around the isolated building which might appear like over-sharpened at 1st look, but you have nicely shown the FG grass in soft blur to prove it negative.

Very effective composition.

très jolie vue de l'Aragon. on ressent bien l'impression de chaleur dans ce paysage désolé. Je suppose que cette petit construction perdue dans ce champs doit être une ancienne bergerie. Peut-être.
la composition entre horizontale superposée est très efficace dans cette image. juste peut-être, un petit regret, c'est que l'image est totalement fermée, l'horizon de s'ouvre pas du tout. mais je respect votre choix à ce sujet.

An interesting composition indeed!
The lines in the fields add an artistic impact usually found in abstract paintings, and the few elements in the frame work wonderful together...
Good colour match and the white house contrasts well!

Désolé pour le retard de ma réaction à vos commentaires.
J'ai l'impression de voir un tableau à cause du sujet épuré divisé en trois par les lignes horizontales, ce qui lui confère un attrait irrésistible. La similitude des tons dorés de ce triplé ajoute à l'impression de pureté. Bien sur, le regard verrouille sur la petite construction et son jeune compagnon, judicieusement localisés, dans ce "désert" vu d'un deltaplane!
