I wanted to practice with the technique technique explained here to have the effect of an unfinished drawing. Thank you, Richard.
The photo was taking in the park of the Monastery of Piedra. The river Piedra crosses this place sketching several cascades. This one is the second tallest (40 metres). Its name is "Caprichosa", what means whimsical, fanciful, without rules. The tallest cascade there is 90 m high.
A capriccio or caprice is a piece of music, usually fairly free in form and of a lively character. I had the whim of experimenting with this technique and made this caprice. |

Ese lugar bucólico lleno de rincones que te quitan el suspiro solo se puede encontrar en el monasterio de piedra. Un autentico regalo de la naturaleza.Estuve este verano ahi y me quedé anonadada con tanta belleza.
Interesante tecnica utilizada Clemente. Realmente da la sensación que la fotografia está a media hacer. lo unico que veo es que la parte de la cascada podrias haber jugado un poco con el contraste y "Sharpeness" (lo siento no se como se dice en castellano)para destacar los verdes y darle un poco de nitidez y profundidad. (siento ser tan tikismikis) Aun así, está muy lograda y demuestras mucha creatividad....Martha

This is a nice composition, the picture itself is good and you add extra excitement with your post processing... To me the railing makes the picture as it gives both contrast and depth... The PP technique is new to me and it looks like interesting, thanks for the reference in your description!
