Familia: Umbelliferace, Apiaceae. Herbácea vivaz.
Altura: Hasta 2 m. Tallo: Erecto, estriado, ligeramente ramificado en la parte inferior.
Hoja: Triangulares, con pecíolo acanalado, las inferiores tripinnatisectas, con folíolos ampliamente ovados a elípticos, de margen irregularmente aserrado, los inferiores algo peciolados. Flor: Blancas-rosadas a púrpuras, en umbelas de radios prácticamente del mismo tamaño. Umbelas de segundo orden con 1630 bractéolas lineares. Florece de julio a septiembre.
