[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These are details of the breastplate of the Roman Emperor Octavius Caesar Augustus as they appear on his statue in Zaragoza. This statue looks like a copy of a famous one in Rome.
He was born in the year 63 BC and died in 14 CE. Nephew of the great Julius Caesar was named his heir after the murder of Julius Caesar. With the time Augustus became the first Roman Emperor.
The city of Zaragoza was founded in the time of Octavius. The city took the name of the Emperor: CaesarAugusta. This name derived after centuries into Zaragoza.
