I took this photo last summer during my holidays in the beautiful island of Formentera. I was visiting the hippy market in El Pilar de la Mola, nice place full of people, colours and music. There I saw him, a beautiful child sitting there on that mosaic pavement, and I truly regretted not having my digital reflex with me. In the centre of the round mosaic was an old man playing its guitar and many people were circle sitting around him. The child seemed to be there on his own among the crowd of noisy tourists walking around him without apparently aknowledging his presence.
PP: increased sharpness with Unsharp Mask, cloned out walking feet behind the child, decreased yellow by 2%, cropped and framed. I wish I was able to clone out the man sitting next to the child because I find him really disturbing and stealing attention from the subject but I don't think I would have succeeded, so I selected him and gaussian-blurred him. I realize this may look a bit fake and I would appreciate if any of you could recommend another way to take the man out of the picture without cropping it.
Thanks.
Hope you enjoy it.

Hi Martina,
The face of this kid is very impressive. Looks like he/she observed something with great interest, being a bit excited. I like the colours here (the mosaic adds a lot!). I agree that the man was disturbing a lot! I told him to go... he left few traces imho... :-) Please check the workshop :)

Hi Martina,
Good capture of a distinct mood but I cannot say for sure which it is... A funny pose too! I agree, pity with the guy but you can't get rid of him without a major change
