| This photograph was taken when I was attending a fiesta in a small village in the province of Ourense, Galicia, Spain. I was really moved by the warmth of the people there who readily took me within their fold in spite of poor Spanish (and non-existent Gallego). I was staying with a family of a friend. One day it was raining continuously. When it stopped for a few moments, I stepped out of my room and the very first thing that caught my eye was this formation of the clips. I like this photograph. The bright colours of the clips against the fresh blue sky somehow portray my mood at that time. |
