Aranjuez is a town lying 48 km south of Madrid, in the southern part of the Community of Madrid.
Aranjuez is known for the Palacio Real de Aranjuez, one of the Spanish royal sites, and its vast gardens. The Tagus valley has been intensively farmed since medieval times and the strawberries of Aranjuez are famous throughout Spain. Internationally, Aranjuez has become known through the Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquin Rodrigo. Rodrigo is buried in the town cemetery.

It only looks easy. What if you arrive to Aranjuez and you are hungry? Of course, you take a dinner. The restaurant is next to the Palacio and you spend 100 euro. Good or bad, it doesn't matter (as always).
Once satisfied, you (being in much better mood) go to see Palacio and Gardens. The big surprise is that there is VERY difficult to determine where the Palacio "starts and ends". OK, I am going to save your life. IT IS the real front side of it. Many, many people (including me) did so many mistakes... |
