These first flowers of an almond tree are dedicated to Silke ( you are living in a beautiful cold country).

You will never belive , but today the temperature was 24 degrees. It is like spring time and these are the first flower I have seen.

such delicate colours, Juan! and I cannot believe my eyes: to see them dedicated to me!?!?!
It will be a very long time before we see blossoms outside.
There are 8 centimetres of snow on my garden and there is more white stuff falling even as I write this! The temperature today is mild -- it is minus 7 !! :D

Nice to see flowering in january, I guess we have to wait 3-4 months up here. I will be in Spain in early April and hope to see more flowers, but probably not almonds.
Very good control of DOF and light here. I like your compositon, with the flower in a good position. The black background is enhancing the flower nicely.

You are the champion of string here on TL. Your delicate almond blossom is very attractively presented accenting on the flowers by strong contrast between the lighted and the shadowed part of the picture.
