| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I took this photograph on a recent trip to Spain. We visited the town of Guadalest which is situated in the mountains of Costa Blanca near Benidorm. The castle of Guadalest was constructed by the Moors nearly 1300 years ago and the only entrance is through a tunnel in the rock which is at the top of the stairway you can see in my photo.
The white building in the picture is the bell tower of Penon de la Alcala and is one of the most photgraphed landmarks of the town. |

Beautiful capture. Good sharpness and details.
But I find it a bit tilted to the left. Ir gives a strange feeling. But maybe this is how it realy loked.
Anyway, I did a WS for you.

Hello, Gillian.
A lovely photo from a great viewpoint showing the wonderful textures of that rockface and the pretty tower on the top against a beautiful sky.
I agree with Pierre that it might be very slightly rotated but unfortunately his workshop has caused some loss of sharpness in the image as well as losing some of that sky: so I think it is best left the way it was.
Well done!
Best Wishes,
John.

I can see why it is the most photgraphed place, its stunning. I love buildings in obscure places like that. I could go on about the Romans and concrete but i'll spare you that! maybe next time we talk! hehe.
I like this photo without the altering rotation. It makes it more real. Sometimes Photoshop takes away from the picture's elements. What on earth did people do before digital photos, I ask you!
talk soon x
