SO...I have finally gotten around to downloading my photos from my back to back trips to Denver, CO, Spain, & Costa Rica. I took more pictures in my trip to Spain than I ever have. I tried to get a lot of different kinds of shots, and I tried to get a lot of night pictures...those didn't quite work out as nicely as I hoped they would...lots of blur.
Anyway, one of my stops in Spain was in Valencia. The City of Arts & Sciences is a large conglomerate of parks, pools, space & architecture. Unfortunately, I didn't find Valencia all that appealing except for its charm and this "city." It is really amazing. Truly fantastic, and the city of Valencia should be mighty proud. Its architect is the same guy who designed the Olympic stadium for the Athens games. Hopefully, I will post a lot of good run of pictures from this visit.
Upon walking around, I noticed this view with the one side completely shaded and the other receiving sun. I think the shapes created here are really great. Probably could do with a little cropping on the right. Shot with the 885's landscape scene setting.
Thanks for viewing. |

Hey! Nice subject! Unfortunately its pretty affected by compression, or so it would seem. See the little blocks that zigzag through the image? I'd say try if you can posting this again, but when you save the image, try to keep it as "large" as possible. Otherwise, its an interesting building.
Maybe a different POV as well, not fantastically appreciative on the straight on approach, but not altogether unpleasant. Keep shooting!
