It's really difficult to contemplate a postcard from Valencia and not see the Torres de Serranos ella.Junto in the Torres de Quart, are the only entries that are preserved today in the ancient wall that surrounded the capital and were demolished in the century XIX.
Torres de Serranos are designed by the architect Peter valenciano Balaguer, began construction on April 6 in 1392 and extended until 1398.
Of his more recent history, we can highlight their use during the Civil War as a reservoir where it safeguards the works of art moved from the Museo del Prado.
At the end of the month of February, the towers are the setting for "CRIDA" act in which the couple began fallera Las Fallas in Valencia. |
