Up and going again? This is really a great photo. The colours, the shapes of the flowers and the leaves, everything. I haven,t had time to try these frames but again this one is very very nice.

Nice in-outgoing lines to the right.
Where you kept space we see these beautiful thin hairs.
More space gives more contrast and 'air'. THe picture is a bit overloaded; the green is even bursting out over the frame ;)
Prachtig paars

Another great bursting out of the frame job John. I know Janice will be pleased because of the colour. If it wasn't for the leaves I would say we were looking at a bottlebrush. Great PP work, delicate pinks and grey/greens. TFS
David

This is a mimosa tree! We have them all over the place here. I used to pick the flowers and put them in my hair when I was a little girl. If you detach the "leaves" from the tree, they will fold up, so they were no fun because they wouldn't play with us. :) Yes, the flowers could be ballerinas, decorations for mud pies - fodder for the imagination!

You triggered some memories with this one, John. It's a nice shot.

Gayle :)

Excellent John
Great color great frame I love the way the leafs come right out of the image it's a real joy to the eyes.
Thanks Buddy

Why, thank you John! And what a beautiful image of the flower. We have a similar tree growing at home now and it is out in flower, only your pink flower is a much prettier colour than ours. (Albizia julibrissin/ silk tree)
And so good to see you back in action again.
Thank you, thank you John
And it looks like HUGS is the word to use, so many hugggggs from me to you,
Janice

Some good colors in your pic Nice and sharp!. Well captured!

Always a gentelman, dear John, your lovely flower image is a very nice tribute to the two great lady members of TL. Bravo!

He John,

Groet,

Hendrik

Well done John, the flowers are nicely in focus, maybe too many leaves in the pciture, but love how you get it to creep out of the frame again.

First real week back at work and we've had the best weather all summer!

John, this looks like a Mimosa tree. We had a lot of these in Texas. They are considered "trash" trees there. I am not sure why. I always loved them. The little purple-pink puffs are so pretty, and the leaves are very interesting. You captured them well here in your photo.

Just an interesting tid-bit. There is a plant kin to the Mimosa that I have seen in Costa Rica and Belize called a 'Sensitivity Plant'. The foliage is very similar to that of the Mimosa. When you touch the leaves of this plant, they curl up and seem to wither. It is very interesting and fun to try and "trick" the plant.
