[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this photo on the same short hike as this one, while visiting the Teide national park high up on the roof of Tenerife. The walk was well marked and only four kilometers long, but full of fairly challenging descents and ascents. And when you walk at an altitude of 2300 meters you need a whole lot more air and energy than you do at sea level. So lunch in the nearby staterun Parador Hotel was greatly appreciated after the walk.

The was not cropped, only resized and sharpened a bit.

Hi Per,

Well done on this capture and composition.
The sky color? really, hmmm. ;)

Mike

Wow, I thought you had been on the Moon, Per ! but with colours and sun ...
Great capture of landscape !
Sylvie

Now I understand why you ride your bike so much. To give you some stamina for hiking in craters such as this. The scene is lovely and just the sort of hike my husband and I would enjoy. My only concern is the colour of the sky. It looks a bit of the cyan side. Not being there of course, I have no idea of the colour of the Spanish sky that day. Did you enhance it in any way? I like the composition very much where the tall face of the crater is on the left sloping downwards to the right where I find a good human element. Perhaps your wife.
Sorry, but I spent all my points this morning Per.

Hello Per,

I love the rugged landscape here and the wonderful view into the distance. Great composition and detail.

You managed to capture the slope very well, Per, which generally is not that easy. The person below helps, of course. Lovely colours, sharpness is great. With a tripod you could have tried to shoot pictures from consecutive angles, for creating a panoramic view... which I would have loved to see ;o).
TFS.

Great shot of the crater Per. I love the different colour rocks and also the shapes of the pointed rocks. Seeing the hiker there gives an idea of the scale of things around. Excellent clarity and composition. Nicely Done
Cheers
Joan
