Great perspective John with the railings on the bench and the joins in the flagstones creating the diagonals. Good natural colours. For mine he is waiting rather impatiently for a lady :). TFS

The man and the dog are the same color! :) They say we come to look like our dogs, or was that spouses that we start to look like. Hmmm. Now I'm confused.

Anyway, this is another nice, "solid" photo - well-grounded, composed, etc. That is one long dog! :)

I used to watch "One man and his Dog" on the TV, It was amazing the way those dogs would obey their owners. Not sure if this dog would be the same though :) He does look as if he is enjoying the sun here. Well captured John

I love your compo here, John. The higher PoV serves well for obscuring the surroundings which might have been distracting, instead you filled the picture with uniform brown hues - and your subject(s). A nice candid shot, even though the man knew you were going to shoot him. Well done, TFS.

Good photo with a very good composition, luckily it was a sausage dog and not a husky, otherwise you might have just had the tail, or one ear and half a snout, or dog blurring picture! Man's tan matches his dog's hair!

This is quite the appealing shot John! I love the little dog, and the impatient owner. The photo is cropped very well, and the frame looks good. But you always have good frames. All in all a very adorable photo!
