Hi Rosa,
This is a very beautiful photo of this rose, with soft colors and lighting, it's really good, but the frame is not good with it, espacially that reddish brown on the outside. Your photo is really good and does not need a frame that is getting more impact then the photo. TFS

dear Rosa, ask any Artist, 'framing' is a proper job, and VERY important, no matter how good your images are, a bad frame can ruin and spoil it, a good framer is worth every cent!!!
The comp and detail of the rose are great, but, just like Luc, THE FRAME!!! It was the first I noticed, that's not what you want, he?
But yes, the flower is goegeous, thanx, M, (*_*)

Bueno Rosa :) no voy a seguir hundiendo el puñal de la critica del marco. Generalmente yo adoro explorar diferentes marcos para mis fotos, pero hay fotografos aqui implacables.
Pienso que el color rojo ladrillo lo fuiste a buscar con el cuentagotas de photoshop en los tonos rojizos de los pétalos...voy a intentar una alternativa en WS.
La macro de la Rosa es brillante y magnifica:)ciao:)

This is a gorgeous rose, but I'm afraid I'll have to agree with the previous TL members about the framing. I think it ruins rose's beauty and attracts our attention. I made a WS. I hope you don't mind and like it. :)

I happen to love flower photography. This is so beautiful. The colors and lighting are perfect. I have to disagree with other commenters about the border. I sort of like t. I think it would print well and look great hung in a nice wooden frame. I think borders almost serve as matting in some cases. I like the reddish color. I think it works well with the darker colors in the flower.

Lovely macro. The composition and colors are great, but the frame is way too heavy and distracts from the beauty of this rose.

Beautifully done Rosa. it is sharp but still retains a softness which is typical of a rose. I am not too worried about the frame as the centre of the rose is so strong it holds my attention But having said that I would not have used the brown-it does nothing to improve so leave it out.
its still worth a 2point smiley

la foto de la rosa es impresionante. Las texturas de los pétalos y el tono de la luz son impresionantes, aparte del detalle y de las fomas de la rosa.
la gente hace demasiado incapié en el marco cuando es algo accesorio que solo sirve para una presentación y que se puede cambiar en cualquier momento. Lo importante es lo que hay dentro y además este marco en particular no me parece inadecuado.
Felicitaciones por este magnífico trabajo.

Such a beautiful portrait of the rose has been caught in this frame. Its color is fabullous which is making it unique among the other pictures of roses. Fine details are captured which are making it feel the softness and aroma. Well done Romi.
