Interesting picture! It's like 2 different textures that meet at this "borderline", linked by a bird who can, unlike us humans, use both surfaces. I've crossed the Barcelona harbour myself on this passerelle, and i was quite amazed about the fact there was no fence to prevent people falling in the water, but the passerelle is wide enough for it not being needed. And this bird definitely doesn't need any fence too!

Un titre très approprié... et Olivier l'a bien dit. C'est bien deux textures ou deux média qui se rencontrent et le goéland (ou la mouette?) pourrait être à l'aise aussi bien dans l'une que dans l'autre. Ça prend l'allure d'un drapeau en plus. Et ça donne le goût de plonger.

oui oui oui ! c'est super bien vu. tu nous as fait une superbe compo. 2 surfaces symétriques mais de textures complètement différentes, et ne parlons pas des couleurs ! Si parlons en au contraire. Le vert de l'eau est superbe tout en vaguelettes. le plancher des vaches composés de lignes droites est complètement antinomique avec l'eau. Et cette mouette au milieu est royale à défaut d'être un aigle.
un mauvais point, la surexpo de la mouette et du plancher. avec un léger pp tu pourrais corriger, on a le droit sur TL aussi ;o)

Wonderful perspective to this shot Sylvie! This creates a great graphical image, really matching your idea here :) Maybe a slight overexposition on those whites. Anyway love your idea, very well seen!

I love the composition, even it is cut the frame in half. I like the contrast between the sea and the wooden area.

The bird is an extra... I think it will be boring without it.

I think it is a little bit "hot" for the bird, otherwise it is a great image.

I like the simplicity of this shot and the smaragd green of the sea.

J'aime l'équilibre de couleur en cette photo. L'eau est une si belle couleur. Le travail très bon sur ceci.

The composition (which is great) suggests that the bird is either:
- going for a swim ;-)
- too afraid to leave terra firma
- just staying put, enjoying the sun
