[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These two kids are an interesting contrast: the girl's parents are both German, but she is growing up in America; the boy's parents are both American, but he is growing up in Germany. The girl learns to speak German at home, and the boy learns to speak English at home.

These kids were both in Spain because their parents were part of a group from Germany coming to do building projects at a youth camp. On Sunday we went to Barcelona to attend the church that sponsors the camp, and I took this picture right outside of the church building.

I did a bit of blurring and darkening of the background to try to keep the focal point of the photo more strongly on the kids.
