[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These are small fishing boats moored in the Bay of Vueltas on the westside of La Gomera. Vueltas is one of three fishing villages in Valle Gran Rey which was discovered by German "hippies" in the 1970s, looking for an alternative to the mass tourism of the other Canarian islands. They are still there, although these day it looks like an away from home party congress of the German green party - all jeans and colouful turtleneck sweaters. It is a very nice place to pass a few days "away from civilization".
The photo is of course all about the three colours blue, green and orange, and the effect you can create with a decent telelens. The focal length was 360 mm.
I sharpened and adjusted levels in PS and cropped slightly at the top.

Oh Yes - The tri-colour - (there’s a little red I think)

I think you done a very fine job Per.
The composition of this photo - The lines of anchors and boats nice to watch - and very colourful too - Only sad that upper boat not of the same kind - but it gives balance in the image so there’s no need to clone it away.

Lovely contrasting colours and composition,a nice shot and interesting note.
Very well done.

lovely dof here and also the positioning of the boats, I like the floats too, well done

Perhaps a little oversharpened, but I love the point of view and how the boats have all been positioned in the frame.

I was searching info on the Canarian Island on Google and came to this :-) !! Since i know you i will comment the photo. I like this scene of blue boats and orange ballons - very nice , and good note too. You have well done with the boats. Bye. Have a good day. Marie.

Nice composition and colours contrasts. Jesus

Per, I really like this photo of the boats, the lines and colors are lovely. I love the reflections of the water on the hull of the boat in the foreground, and the orange floaty things. The composition is great with just the front part (I don't know what it's called!) of the boats showing. Well done.

Very interesting explanation and one of the reasons I come to TL: to see how the rest of the world lives. I love the colours, the contrast and the composition. Good shot.

ahhhhhh Per I love boats, I don't think is possible that anyone could take a bad photo of a boat no matter how bad there is always beauty and character in them ,These are beautiful the color and the line up.
super photo.
