Beautiful capture here of morning light and misty ambience. Quite an ethereal kind of shot, especially with the way the mist/clouds take over the upper part of the frame.
This would have worked well if you composed it with the wind-farm more towards the lower right, too, allowing more of that cloud bank to dominate the photo.

Sierra Nevada, not really snowy - windmills like this are becoming a common sight now, they dot the landscape everywhere. I can feel the updraft you must have experienced right there!

Great POV John nice colors and omp. The clouds in the valley give it a dramatic atmosphere. I think it could be a bit sharper. But stil a nice view!

Great view you have captured with thick clouds and great warm light coming through, windmills are idle at 1/40s. From a high window, the blur and metering is still good. Well done. TFS

Ihmmm, I know how hard is to take pictures trough the airplane window, but you did here a good job. It's a wonderful panorama with those windmills and the clouds over the hills.

Another excellent shot from a plane John. I tried when I went to New Zealand but we must have been flying over the Southern Alps at the time, all I could see was icicles on the window. Good colour and fine detail especially in the clouds. TFS,

The ribbon of earth lit with the morning sun along this line of windmills and at the crest of the mountains is a wonderful sight, especially from this POV! The blanket of fog is impressive, and I love the shapes of the land formations. Amazing and magnificent!
