La Rambla.
This street flows like a river - day and night.
I agree with Federico García Lorca in that it is "the only street in the world which I wish would never end".
The name 'rambla' means in Catalan an intermittent water flow. The name is derived from the Arabic 'ramla' which means 'sandy riverbed'.

La Rambla is a 1,2 km long tree-lined street in central Barcelona between Barri Gòtic and El Raval. It connects Plaça Catalunya in the center with Port Vell by the Mediterranean sea.
