Hi Carlos,

Yes, the shadow is the key element here, and the ant throws quite a large one. The sharpness of the ant is good also and the shadow is very crisp. The one thing that I might do differently is to crop some of the top of the photo to bring the ant and shadow into the "thirds" focus points. TFS

a wonder and wonderful macro picture,
an ant and its shadow are interestingly captured in nice DOF.
