[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It was sunset time in Barcelona. And seemed perfect time for me to take photo of with backlight of this monument. But i think it would be better if i were put in frame more sky scenery on top...

Colomb Monument is located Portal de la Pau in Barcelona. Designed by Gaitea Buigas for 1888 Universal Exhibition. And its standing on stone pedestal and its 60 m. highted cast iron. After Colomb's back in 1493 from America it is said this is the place that he stepped on land with 6 Carabbien natives. It has an elevator in it and you can see the scenery around of the monument from the top of it.

Beautiful shot!I like this silhouette of this great man.Beautiful sky too I think this photo in B&W is great too.

I missed this one somehow. I like it! Nice use of sillouettes and great clouds. very different sillouettes here. They don't compliment each other very well but it doesn't matter because each is very recognizable and sharp. Nice job. Maybe I would leave a little more space above the statue so that it it not so close to the edge. Very nice! JP

Çok güzel bir foto gerçekten, elinize sağlık; ışığı önünüze alarak zor bir çekim yapmışsınız. Bu heykel zaten duruşuyla "benim silüetimi resimle" diyen bir anıt. Benim de aynı yerde çok çok benzer bir fotoğrafım var (bu kadar güzel değil ama), ben de TrekEarth'e upload edeyim diye düşünüyordum.
