[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Is what we see around us, reality? or is it how we imagine the world to be? Who am I and what is the meaning of my existence? What am I going to find each step further? shall I be afraid? At every crossroad I must chose my way...what a difficult decision to make and what a blur surrounding my thoughts sometimes, when I feel like falling into a strange world of doubts, where I have to deal with the shadows of my unconscious mind.

The picure, is of a man walking in an empty street of the center of Alcala de Henares (a wonderful city of Madrid community). The sun was setting down (although still very luminous) and a huge shadow was invading the left part of the street. I likes the man like a shadow and its "real" shadow following him. I applied a distorsion to the image after having played with the curves (more light and contrast). I wanted to create a feeling of "questionning" about "what is reality and what is not"...

This is a wonderfully interesting and captivating piece of art. The high contrast and the distorted shapes are very well done to fit the mood. I really like the split of the dark and light sides. One to be proud of! TFS
