Well Magnus,
Like a real modern teacher you asked the solution at the pupils instead of telling us the solution. Ok. I think the construction with the 2 wheels is to compensate change of length by temperature change. And of course there are some electrical isolation elements.
I hope you will correct this exam quickly and I hope to get a sufficient mark.

nice interesting shot, good comp, the angle you chose for the silouhette is perfect against the natural backdrop. has a graphic feel to it that works very well. i would paint out that that little speck in the sky to finish it off.

Very well done. Composition is very good, thanks for not centering. :) The colors I like a lot...the sepia tone does something...not sure, but, makes it more special that just "b&w," in my opinion. The gears and contraptions on this pole are very interesting to view...good subject matter.

Beautiful tones in your photo!!! It's a delight to see that yellowish glow and the strong dark silhouettes. The pole and the lines create a very dinamic point of view in the photo and it's like we are about to see it move;-)
