[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Driving home from a quiet walk on a calm,Swedish beach last summer, I really had to stop and take this picture. It's +- 2.00AM and I'm not quiet sure if the sun was coming up again, or was still going down.It really looks as the horizon was on fire, really special experience, I felt honoured to be there at that special time. Really all alone in nature, nobody around, just me and nature. Extraordinary!!!

We were getting close to the polarcirkel, where during summer it never gets really dark. The opposite during winter ofcourse.
I really liked these colours, and the picture has kind of a special memory for me. Thinking of all that is happening in this crazy world... this is my view of peace. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do... ;)

I cropped a bit, saturated a bit, framed and resized.

Cheers,
Geert ;)

Hallo Geert,
Maak ons allemaal maar jaloers. Is dat niet moeilijk voor je dat gebrek aan licht in de winter? - maar ja haal je in de zomer dus weer in.
Fantastische foto, heel mooi geframed.

looks like paintings. I would tempted to clone out those clouds because its looks like dark spots (for my taste only)

Hello Geert,
This is a very beautiful sunrise/sunset scene with very warm red tones and nice patterns and shapes in the sky. The composition is excellent with the use of the weed in the foreground to frame the bottom while adding some depth in the photo.
Greetings.
Luc

Hi Kojak, I really like the treatment here, I would have avoid the slight tilt instead.the atmosphere you created here is something in between the romantic and the psychedelick.

bravo

Marco

Hi Geert,

Een mooie weergave van de zonsondergang. Het is beetje donker, maar dit doet geen geweld aan de schoonheid van de foto. Ömer

Geert,
Another beautiful sunset/sunrise. I would be tempted to clone out the dark clouds though if I wanted to play and see what it looked like without them. It sort of looks like fireworks duds exploding in air. Kind of distracting, but I still love the colors. Good job.

Thank you.
