[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One my way back from Sweden, I passed this lake. I couldn’t resist I had to "shot" it.
Beautiful clear spring day, 12 Celsius, not warm because it was windy.
Note the color of the water, it isn’t blue but have a strange black color.
The spring is near also in Sweden; the leaves are nearly there.

ISO 100
Focal length 33 mm.

Taken I Raw adjusted light and contrast, converted to JPEG and resized to TL.

One remark for your PP.. best is to edit in RAW.. than change to TIF
resize inTIF !!
I always go in two steps.. not direct from a 3-5 MB photo to 800-600 but hlf way in TIF and than again 2nd time in TIF to 800 -600 Safe as TIF..and once in the 800-600 format change the photo to ** jpg
In TIF you do not loose quality in resizing, in ** jpg you do

But your photo here is a pearl ..good job

Good shot, nice place. I think you had a good focus on the front tree and all the trees in the back are not in a good DOF. Also a portrait POV may better than this landscape.

Sure sun is rising every day faster in the north than even with us done here.
Reall Swedish forrest picture, think a bit more contrast had made it 'fuller'.

Nice spring light but I notice the greenery is a little behind yet!
However it seems like nice and peaceful place, and the simplicity of composition is appealing...

Beautiful sceanery.

A very natural looking image Jens both colourwise and focus. Well composed and good reflections. You can see the effects of a long and cold winter. I read John's remarks with interest. I don't have the RAW function with my camera and very rarely use TIFF. I take all my shots in JPEG at 2048x1536 and my resizing is done in one step. TFS,

PS Autumn here and the temperatures during teh day have been around the 20C mark.
