| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This is professor Hans Olofsson, from Onsala Space Observatory, the only one in Sweden. I took this photo of him with one of the telescopes in the background. In fact this observatory started with those Wurzburg-telescopes the Germans placed along the Norwegian coast during WW2. When the Germans lost the war the founder of this observatory, professor Olof Rydbeck, bought them and used them for what became Onsala Space observatory. Now this observatory is treated by plans to build wind power plants, which will disturb the space observatory work completely. I wrote a couple of articles about this some years ago. Hopefully there will not be built any windpower plants in this area of the country. |

Pozdrav Mitko
Hi Monica,
I'm quite certain the observatory is a magnificent one. The photo, on the other hand, is the total opposite.
In photography, it's always critical to place something exactly behind a person. Not to mention if it is as if it protrudes out of a person's head - which is clearly the case here. The man looks like as if he's wearing a huge hat too! You could've asked him to move sideways and simply placed the dish on either side of him.
Good luck next time. :-)
