I would have to say this cute little puppy is woman's best friend too, haha ;) Really adorable capture, I love how you got down lower to be at-level with the puppy and man stooping down, and at the side, to get an intimate profile shot and to really capture the bond between the puppy and man. The black and white makes the moment timeless and the shallow depth of field is perfect to make the two pop out against the background. The tonalities are great, they're very complex and rich, although I wish there was slightly less shadow on the dog's face (difficult I know because the fur is very dark there). I might have cropped a tiny bit off the right edge just to decenter the puppy's face a little more and to create more balance. Nice simple thing black frame with the line of white to make the photo pop out and to pick up on the tones of the shot. Really great shot, thanks for sharing!
