[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi,
I took a series of shots just after sunrise at Lake Molken in Sweden when on holiday last summer. This is one of them and shows the early morning mist rising from the lake, and the stillness of the lake with the reflextions of trees on the water. The scene was shot from the grounds of the cottage where we were staying at Myrbacka on the shores of Lake Möckelns, near to the town of Älmhult in Småland.

Älmhult's claim to fame is that it is the home of the furniture group IKEA.

It really is a beautiful, tranquil place. I like the mood of this shot, with the strength of the trees, the wispy atmosphere of the morning mist, and the colours and stillness.

I share your views about the scene.The atmoshpere in the scene is great with the mist and the reflection.I took a reflection and mist shot which is in my TL collection that has similar elements to your shot.

Excellent photo and perfect timing to get up early and use the best moment of the day to make this photo. The golden light in the morning fog is super and color in the overall photo are spot on.

Sweet mood captured here I like the way the back ground is framed by the trees in the front. It looks like five frames on a wall installed close to each other!

Something very good about this great composition with mist and stillness...look at the reflection..and that yellow color creating the fire like gradient for you.
